What a pleasure it was, that despite the world we are living in at the moment, we were able to see such beautiful smiles from our bride and groom this past weekend. Jasmin and Calvin were blessed to have been able to say their "I Do's" on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Accompanied by their friends and family, this wedding is definitely one we will remember.
Jasmin and Calvin met as young adults trying to make some money, at an agency in Little Village. They started dating February 22, 2011 which puts an exact mark of Nine years and six months of them being together and getting married.
They grew up together overcoming any and all obstacles life had thrown in their direction, and no matter the "what" they have proved their love was stronger time after time.
As we watched Jasmin get ready, we couldn't help but feel that "homey" feeling in her home. The love and affection showed by not just her mother but everyone else were greatly overwhelming. The smiles and compliments coming from all had us smiling from ear to ear.
Jasmin's accessories shined with the peeking sun rays coming in from the windows, the candles, and the Bible, and all that came with showed such great detailed work. Her dress was something you could only dream of. It was all only preparing the world for the beautiful venue that awaited to be celebrated in.
Maybe it is our background, and maybe that makes us a little biased, but the Hispanic culture has such wonderful delicacies. Take the music, for example, Calvin was followed with a Tamborazo until he made his arrival at the Church. Not many times do we see a Groom turn heads.
We made sure to follow safety guidelines as we prepared for the grand moment. The moment in which two people, two souls, two dreams aspire to become one.
What a traditional entry was by the bride. Calvin, waiting patiently for his soon to be a father in law to give his daughters hand in marriage. We could not help but notice the way Calvin was looking at Jasmin. As if it were the first time he had laid eyes on such a beautiful being. An intimate yet beautiful ceremony this was.
The venue was out of this world. How the rose gold glittered through every corner and matched so perfectly with every thought through centerpiece. The sweets table full of expertise level handcrafted delights. Their initials everywhere reminding everyone why they were there.
Capturing the bridal and groom party with Jasmin and Calvin was possibly one of the favorites of the day. All showing such support and such love for their dear friends.
"Love Conquers All" holds many sayings. Jasmin and Calvin's love show us but just a few of those. Through the night Jasmin and Calvin's guests danced, laughed, and mingled. What a pleasure and honor it was to have been standing on the outside looking in.
