Nadine and Francisco celebrated their special day with a beautiful and intimate court wedding at the Joliet Courthouse on October 10th. It was the perfect fall day in Illinois — a little windy, but comfortable and bright, giving us that ideal October weather everyone hopes for.
The couple arrived surrounded by their immediate family, which made the day feel even more meaningful. Nadine looked stunning in her white spaghetti-strap dress with a slit, simple and elegant in every way. Francisco wore a navy suit that complemented her look perfectly. Together, they had such a calm and joyful energy that made photographing them effortless.
Court ceremonies are always short and sweet, but they carry so much emotion. After the “I do’s,” we went outside, the courthouse always gives us a beautiful backdrop — I especially loved how the courthouse windows reflected the surrounding buildings. It added a modern, urban feel to their portraits that fit the day perfectly.
Nadine and Francisco were such a pleasure to work with. Their connection, their families, and the simplicity of the day made this court wedding truly special. It was an honor capturing these moments for them.
