We love the commitment and perseverance of our couples who had to make adjustments to their special day due to Covid. Jennafir and Erik are no strangers to those changes. With rescheduling their wedding our couple still said "I Do" last year in a more intimate ceremony and unfortunately Jennafir did not get the chance to wear her gown.
When Jennafir reached out to us and explained the situation and how she still would love to have a photoshoot with her gown and create the First Look, we couldn't help but say yes! We met Jennafir and Erick in Plainfield at Jennafirs dad's home where her sister did her hair and makeup. Jennafir also wore s pair of beautiful pearl earrings that belonged to her grandmother.
Her dress was a beautiful silhouette lace with a gorgeous long train. Our groom, Erik looked very handsome. What we loved, even more, was that Erick still to that day had not seen the gown Jennafir had.
We met our couple at Settlers Park and got ready for the First Look. The moment Erik turned around and saw Jennafir, it was like he was falling in love with her all over again. The way Jennafir smiled like she was shy and had butterflies for the first time made us almost feel like we were imposing on an intimate moment.
Though the day started warm, sunny and beautiful, we couldn't help but love the soft natural light from the sunset in the background. All the portraits have the warmest of light and makes it even more intimate.
We love shooting during sunset and think it makes for better shots to highlight our brides and grooms. Adding sunset photos to this wedding timeliness makes for beautiful timeless memories.
We want to thank Jennafir and Erick for though it was a non-traditional shoot, it is one that we will not forget. We loved being able to help capture our bride in her gown.
We wish you nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness!
