Chicago City Trip (Nutella Cafe)

Today we wanted to share with you some pictures we took from our Sunday trip to the Windy City.

It doesn't matter where you live (Cicero, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Lemont, etc., etc.,) when someone ask you; "Where are you from?" the answer is always; "I'm from Chicago", Am I right? (I do speak for myself but I am sure I speak for a few more) and maybe it’s because those cities are kind of small and it’s easier for people to identify you quicker (or so I think) if you said "Chicago" I don’t know but, I guess I like the sound of that.

But, the truth is, we are actually 45 minutes from Chicago. We are from Joliet, IL so we barely know Chicago, so we decided to take a small trip at night (mainly because we woke up late but shhh don't tell my sister LOL) it’s definitely not the first time we go there at night, but last time was about 2 or 3 years ago so it’s safe to say we were due for a mini trip to the Windy City and see the Big Christmas Tree in Chicago which we need to thank Darlene Dorfler for donating this beautiful 62-feet tall Christmas Tree.

The Tree is at Millennium Park, Wrigley Square at Michigan Ave. & Randolph St.

I have to admit that going to see the Christmas tree was not the only reason I wanted to go. In May, Nutella's first U.S. Cafe opened in Chicago, since then, I've wanted to go there and get chocolate wasted (see the reference right there?) So going to the Nutella Cafe, was a Must.

Go check them out 189 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL

After we stuff our bellies, we went for a walk around the area.

Beautiful isn't? There's lots more that I would like to share but for now it’s all I have. Next time we go on a trip, we'll share the pictures with you.

Thank you for stopping by.
