October engagement sessions are always a favorite of mine, and Jessica and Leo’s session at BirdHaven Greenhouse in Joliet was no exception. The crisp air, softer light, and early fall atmosphere created the perfect setting for a relaxed and romantic evening.

From the moment we started, this session felt easy and natural. Jessica and Leo were comfortable, playful, and fully themselves, which always makes for the best photos. My goal during engagement sessions is for couples to enjoy the experience without worrying about posing, and these two did just that. We walked through the greenhouse, talked, laughed, and let moments unfold naturally.

BirdHaven Greenhouse is such a beautiful location, especially in October. The greenery, textures, and natural light create a timeless look that works beautifully for engagement photos.
