Emily and Jacob’s engagement session took place on October 26 at the beautiful Channahon State Park. This was our first time meeting them, after Emily reached out to us via email, and from the very beginning, they were so easy to work with.

The park was showing off its fall colors that day. Brown and yellow leaves filled the background, with small hints of red everywhere we turned. The fall weather was perfect, and as the sun started to set, the light became soft and warm, giving us the most romantic sunset glow.

Emily wore a flowy white dress that moved beautifully with the breeze, while Jacob kept it classic and relaxed with blue jeans and a beige top. Their outfits fit the fall setting perfectly and gave the session a clean, timeless look.

Throughout the session, Emily and Jacob were laughing, smiling, and simply enjoying being together. The vibe was romantic and natural, which made capturing their connection feel effortless. One very special moment from the session was recreating a photo of Emily’s parents on a swing. It was such a meaningful idea, and we loved helping them bring that memory to life.

This engagement session felt calm, sweet, and full of love—everything we hope for when photographing couples. We are so thankful Emily and Jacob trusted us to capture this season of their lives.
