Love Illuminated: A Sunrise Engagement Session at Navy Pier │Chicago, IL │Engagement Photographer
Engagement photoshoots are a great way to capture the love and connection between two people who are planning to spend their lives together. And what better time to do it than at sunrise when the light is soft and golden, and the world is still waking up? That's exactly what Beth and Michael did for their engagement photoshoot, and we were lucky enough to be a part of it.
It was a cold morning, with temperatures in the 30s, but Beth and Michael were troopers, braving the cold to get the perfect shots. We started the shoot with some shots capturing the iconic Ferris wheel in the background. Navy Pier is a special place for the couple as it is where they had their first date, and it's also where Michael proposed. So it was only natural that they chose this location for their engagement session.
As the sun started to rise, we moved to the pier to capture some shots with the sunrise in the background. The light was perfect, casting a soft, warm glow on the couple. We were able to get some great shots with the pier in the background, as well as some close-up shots of the couple. Beth and Michael were so comfortable in front of the camera, and their love for each other shone through in every shot.
We then moved back to the ferries to capture some more shots with the beautiful staircase as the background. We were able to capture a variety of poses and expressions, from playful to romantic, and everything in between.
Overall, it was an amazing experience working with Beth and Michael. They were so in love, and it was evident in every shot we took. We were able to capture a variety of photos with different lighting, but my favorite ones are definitely the ones at sunrise. The warm, golden light created such a beautiful atmosphere, and it made the photos feel even more special.
