Engagement Session at The Art Institue of Chicago, IL | Joliet Engagement Photographer
A few weeks ago, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing a special engagement session for Juliana and Andres—our nephew and his beautiful fiancée. Capturing these moments was not only meaningful because of our family connection but also because of the couple's undeniable love and natural joy together.
The Art Institute of Chicago was the perfect backdrop for this session. With Juliana’s deep love for art, the choice of location was as thoughtful as it was beautiful. The museum, with its architectural elegance and rich artistic atmosphere, added a unique and meaningful layer to their photos. And on that ideal fall day, the weather seemed to join in celebrating this couple, giving us mild temperatures and soft light to enhance the surroundings.
Juliana’s yellow sleeveless dress was a joyful touch, complementing her personality and setting her apart against the classic museum interior. Andres looked sharp beside her, dressed in black pants and a beige sweater that suited the fall palette perfectly. Their coordinated outfits added an effortless charm, especially as we moved to different areas around the museum.
One of our favorite parts of the day was photographing Juliana and Andres on the museum’s iconic spiral staircase. The architectural lines brought a romantic, almost cinematic feel to their portraits as they moved together, sharing laughs and sweet moments. We then stepped outside to capture a few shots amidst the stunning fall flowers. The vibrant yellow blooms in the background beautifully matched Juliana’s dress, creating a cohesive and striking look that tied everything together naturally.
It was truly an honor to document such an important chapter in Juliana and Andres' lives. We are beyond excited to see them step into the next stage of their journey together and are grateful to have shared this unforgettable day with them.
