We can not begin to describe what a wonderful day it was to capture these timeless memories with Jennafir and Erik. Whose love not only shows in their eyes but resonates through these photos.
Jennafir and Erik met through a mutual friends ugly sweater party and hit it of right from the start! Not only was that party a fun way to bring two beautiful people together but they have made that theme party a tradition now. Shortly before their four year anniversary Erik proposed to Jennafir as he couldn’t wait for Christmas to give her a surprise. Erik made their proposal one to remember as he handed one of their fur babies, Pierce, the box with the ring in it. As Pierce dropped that box in Jennafir’s lap, Erik got on one knew and asked for her hand in marriage.
Hearing that story made us even more excited to be able to be part of their journey to their wedding day, when she asked for their 3 dogs to be involved how could we say no.
The day was perfect, the scene was even better. We were transported to a whole new world as we started our walk through Lake Katherine in Palos Heights, Il. What is amazing about it is that this is where both Jennafir and Erik enjoy walking their dogs.
There could not have been a better sunny day with subtle winds. Through every click of our camera their smiles grew more and more natural, we couldn’t help but smile ourselves. Capturing their dogs came to a surprise as these models were so natural on camera!
It was definitely quite a day to remember and we can not wait to capture more memories when they say their “I do’s.”
