This is the last engagement session of the year and we did it with style. Whoo whoo!! We closed this cycle with Yadira and Luis. We meet with them early in the morning, very gloomy and cloudy day but beautiful and so perfect for photo-sessions. See when it's cloudy, the light is even and it makes it easier to photograph. Was it cold? Yes. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!! I don't know if I said this before but Chicago it's the most beautiful city (in my opinion). It has the most amazing skyline ever. I wish I live there, but Sal doesn't like the city so, for now I have to dream about it. Maybe one day we'll move over there, but for now, I don't mind the drive because everything in Chicago makes it worth it.
The backdrop was the perfect scenery for Yadira and Luis engagement session. They wanted to include their furry baby, so Hector joined them in a couple of pictures. I love when dogs are included on their photo sessions because they are too, part of the family. Hector was wearing a beautiful handmade sweater and reminded me of my crochet days. Before I grabbed a camera and photograph people, I was actually crocheting and creating beanies, scarves etc etc and I had so so much fun doing it. I'll tell you more about it on another blog :D
We are so thankful that our couples put their trust in us and let us create beautiful pictures regardless of the climate, time or location. Can't thank Yadira and Luis enough for meeting us so early in this cold morning. Yadira and Luis are getting married next year and I hope I can photograph Hector on their wedding day, maybe in just a quick one or two pictures.
