An Enchanted Forest Quinceañera at Posh Banquets & Event Center in Joliet, IL
Last Saturday we had the honor of photographing Yuliana’s special day. A beautifully fall sunny morning, the perfect day to celebrate her fifteen birthday. Yuliana is a brilliant young lady; some of her favorite sports are volleyball and swimming. She graduated 8th grade with straight A’s and High Honors. Her favorite color is purple and navy blue, so it's no surprise that she choose a beautiful purple dress to celebrate this day.
We started the morning at St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Crest Hill Illinois where the priest prepared a beautiful ceremony for Yuliana. After the ceremony, we head over to Dellwood Park for some pictures with Yuliana and her court. They were all having fun and gave us some amazing shoots that I am pretty sure Yuliana will hold dear to her heart for years to come. Once we finished the session, our next stop was the reception.
The reception was held at Posh Banquets & Event Center in Joliet IL. With purple being the predominant color, the tables and decor around the venue also included gray and white. Beautiful colorful flowers adorned the cake and tealight candles made the room feel warm.
During the father and daughter traditional dance, Yuliana and her father surprise their guest with a choreographed dance, both showed their best moves for sure. Yuliana and her chambelanes also had her traditional Quinceañera Walts followed by a surprise dance with her court. The night went by so fast, and we love that we were there capturing every minute of it, so she can relive this day over and over.
Every little detail on this day was so perfect, the purple dress, the beautiful butterflies adorning her hair to the beautiful white trees as centerpieces. Everything was beautiful and the room was filled with joy and laughter, all celebrating Yuliana's Quincenañera.
