A transition to womanhood is a beautiful celebration, and luckily enough we were able to attend Mirella's celebration.
We were contacted 2 weeks ago, as a last-minute party for Mirella was underway. Fortunately, we had the date open and we were able to work with this mother-daughter duo.
A beautiful ceremony was held in Rochelle, Il. We love ceremony shoots, it just feels so intimately beautiful, especially for a Quinceañera. The ceremony was followed by the perfect party in Dekalb, Il. Mirella was absolutely amazing to work with.
A beautiful day with weather up in the 80s made for the perfect lighting to highlight each and every little shimmering bead on Mirella's dress and bouquet. We couldn't tell what shined brighter, Mirella's smile or her dress!
The party was so much fun to shoot. Her family and friends danced and laughed the night away. Mirella had a second dress to wear for the night, which couldn't have been more perfect.
Looking through these photos makes us so proud. With each shot, you can see this young girl turn into an incredible, strong, beautiful young woman.
