Let's talk about sweets! Yes, sweets! It's wedding season and I have some delicious photos to help make your wedding desserts a delight for guests' eyes.

Many brides struggle with the dessert selection for their big day! I don't blame them. There are a lot of decisions to be made such as, what should the desserts look like? Are they going to be served on a buffet? Should there be a signature dessert? You might also be wondering, what kind of sweets do I want?

First and foremost, there are two things that you should consider before selecting your wedding sweets;

1. Choose Something You Like

You may not be able to taste all the desserts on offer at catered venues, but if you can choose from an array of options, go with something you like! After all, it's your day. Pay attention to seasonal fruits and flavors and have fun with it!

2. Beware of Food Allergies

If you're providing food at your wedding, you'll want to make sure there are options for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions. This doesn't mean you have to make 10 different kinds of cake — just have one or two that are allergy-friendly so people can enjoy them too. If there's room in your budget, gluten-free cupcakes or vegan brownies.

People love s'mores, and they're a fun way to end an outdoor wedding reception although they're also popular at indoor receptions as well because they make people feel nostalgic. You can make them yourself or hire someone to do it for you

Everyone loves cupcakes, so why not make them mini? Mini cupcakes offer an easy snack for guests that is fun and easy. Plus, there are so many flavors you can choose from for guests with different tastes.

Pudding might not sound like the most exciting dessert, but there's something about this creamy (and sometimes custardy) dessert that's just perfect for weddings. If you're planning a low-key country wedding, it might still be appropriate to go with a classic wedding cake. But if you're planning a more contemporary affair, you might want to go with something lighter and simpler like puddings.

Chocolate-covered strawberries are a classic wedding dessert that is simple to make and looks stunning on display. You can also incorporate them into your other desserts by adding chocolate-dipped strawberries as a garnish for your cake or cupcakes.

Chocolate-covered Oreos are an easy and fun alternative to cake pops! You can make them with white chocolate or dark chocolate depending on your preference.

Chocolate-covered pretzels add a salty crunch to the table. They're easy to dip in white or dark chocolate and you can customize them by adding sprinkles, nuts, or crushed candy bars over the top of the melted chocolate.
