A Classic and Elegant Wedding at Meridian Banquet & Conference Center │ Rolling Meadows, IL

Another wonderful weekend spent capturing the smiles and tears of joy of a newly married couple! Jacqueline and Michael's wedding was incredible and we were left astonished with just how delicate and beautiful not only the church was, but also the venue.

Jackie and Michael have been together for seven amazing years after meeting through a mutual friend, and only short months after meeting Michael had asked Jackie to be his girlfriend. We loved hearing how well they have an open line of communication and find that like them we find it very important in marriage. They view each other as equals and it’s just amazing listening to other people's values within their relationship.

Knowing all this about them just made it so much more exciting and comfortable to work with them. We started off that day at the church, which we loved as it was intimate with minimal decoration, it just made it so much easier to capture our bride and groom without taking away from them. All white which helped with lighting.

Immediately after, Michael and Jackie took off in Michael's father's vintage red and white car, we loved that touch!

Arriving at the venue we realized that it used to be a movie theater! We thought that was totally amazing. The inside of the venue was all white with little painted details and knew why Michael and Jackie chose this place.

While the reception was short it was full of laughter and tears and fun dancing. During the mother and son dance, Michael actually danced with his mother-in-law due to his mom no longer being here. It was a beautiful sentiment and many showed their vulnerable side. Watching Jackie dance with her dad was sweet as well, a father sharing a moment with his daughter as she is embarking on the next chapter in her life.

After the reception, we stepped outside to do some groom and bride photos along with bridal party and groomsmen photos. Everyone was just giving us their best sides and smiles which made it an amazing experience for us.

The day ended with us watching our happy newlyweds ride off to their happily ever after!

We can’t wait to present them with their album as we hope they love their photos as much as we loved taking them! A huge congratulations to Michael and Jaqueline.
