What better way to celebrate the month of love than with a beautiful engagement photoshoot! An amazing experience and privilege to have had been chosen to be part of the start of an amazing journey with Cristina and Juan.
We originally met Cristina as she was a bridesmaid for a previous wedding we were photographing. When she reached out to us we were ecstatic that she had chosen us to embark on this wonderful new chapter of her life.
Photographing with Cristina and Juan was so natural and not to mention fun, which really is not surprising given the beginning of their love story.
Cristina and Juan first met back in 2018 when Cristina was out with her friends for a birthday celebration. Cristina and her friends were enjoying themselves with some drinks when Juan appeared asking her to dance.
After their first dance Cristina and Juan couldn’t help but look for each other and spent the night dancing away. After an exchange of numbers, and many messages later, the two went on their first date and eventually started dating.
After three years of dating Juan had an amazing surprise for Cristina. He tried to steer Cristina off course by telling her had to work when in reality he and his family along with some of Cristina’s family members were back home helping Juan arrange the proposal.
What we love most about this engagement story is that Juan took the time to incorporate all of their loved ones to be there for such a beautiful occasion, after all, it is with them that they will vow to love each other for the rest of their lives.
With such history, this engagement session was not only easy but phenomenal! The way they hold on to each other in every photo shows how much love there is between them. The day was quite nice as well, a bit windy and a little chilly but still some beautiful natural light.
It was a great way to start the year and we certainly can’t wait to work with them again. Congratulations to our newly engaged couple!
